CSMART Room

“The intelligent room, in the service of guest experience and operational performance.” CSMART Room is the experience-plus-efficiency block at unit scale: the room, the studio, the apartment or the chalet. A light BMS at the level of a single unit.

Premium guest experience

Four scenes, no instruction manual

The guest does not choose a lighting circuit: they choose a moment. Scenes are prepared by the operator and run by themselves when the context calls for it.

Arrival

Welcome lighting, comfort setpoint, blinds open. Triggered by the badge or the mobile key.

Evening

Dimmed ambience, blinds closed, media sources ready.

Night

General switch-off plus a circulation night light, so nobody crosses an unfamiliar unit in the dark.

Departure

Full energy standby, then a switch to maintenance mode for housekeeping.

Intelligent comfort

What is controlled, and through which interface

The aim is not to automate everything, but to make the useful obvious and the rest invisible. The guest keeps control of their temperature, within the range you define.

  • Heating and coolingAutomatic control by zone, with an adjustment range bounded by management.
  • Multi-zone lightingDimming, scenarios, outdoor lighting and the unit's own common areas.
  • Motorised blinds and curtainsIntegrated into scenes and solar protection.
  • Window opening detectionHeating stops immediately, removing pointless heat loss.

Available interfaces

  • Scene switchesThe most universal: no learning curve, a finish that matches the interior design.
  • Wall touch screenFor units where fine control is expected.
  • CSMART TV integrationComfort reachable from a device everyone already knows how to use.
  • CSMART Mobile appThe same control from the phone, during and before the stay.
Measurable performance

CSMART Room is the operational extension of CSMART Energy

Control is only worth what it measures. Electrical sub-metering, per-unit statistics and operator reporting are native, not optional.

Why operators care

Five problems every manager recognises

None of these is negligence: they are the mechanical consequence of an installation that knows nothing about real occupancy.

  • Heating left at 25 °C all day→ automatic control tied to occupancy.
  • Empty apartments being heated→ intelligent eco mode triggered at departure.
  • Faults hard to diagnose→ centralised supervision and unit-to-unit comparison.
  • Standardisation impossible→ multi-site configuration from a single interface.
  • An ageing image→ a five-star digital experience, with no building work.
Direct ROI
Lower energy bills, less maintenance, fewer corrective interventions
Indirect ROI
Better guest scores, a premium price justified, higher asset value
Refurbishment
Compatible with existing hotels, new build and phased deployment

Synergy

The platform's local brain

CSMART Room becomes the local brain, CSMART Access handles authorisation, CSMART Energy measures performance. Each has a role; none duplicates another.

In practice: the access badge triggers the Arrival scene, check-out triggers automatic departure, the housekeeping visit switches the unit to maintenance mode, and any anomaly is raised as an alert.

Let's talk about your property.

Thirty minutes is usually enough to scope a project: the guest journey you want, operating constraints, regulatory deadlines and a realistic order of magnitude for the payback. Two showhomes are open to visit, in La Londe-les-Maures and Les Arcs.
